Apart from Eddie Laycock (centre front) I can’t be sure of any others. Martin Barr might be the rider on the left but after that I’m stuck!
Test...
Sammy Demespter also on a 200 Honda had some great races with Courtney, but I think Courtney usually had the upper hand.
Me and my friends (Terry, Billy, and Tom)always cheered on Billy Redmond on his outpaced Suzuki.
Courtney Junk at Maghaberry 1972 on his CR93 Honda. Courtney was unbeatable in the 200 class and he has also won three races at the U.G.P.
Karl Wilson with an outrageous style lets it all hang out at "s**t house bend" Aghadowey. With tyres only having a fraction of the grip they have now it was quite rare to see a style like Karls.
Johnny Rea senior pictured here at Aghadowey was a pretty good racer, winning the 1989 Junior TT.
Con Law on the 500cc four cylinder Suzuki. This was THE bike to have at this time as it was developed from the GP championship bikes. I was told that at first many riders did not want the alloy framed version as a "minor" crash could result in a bent frame and a VERY expensive repair bill.
Gregg Page on his Suzuki at Mondello Park. This was a time when "production" racing meant just that, very little was removed from the bikes before racing and Gregg has even fitted crash bars!
Ray McCullough on a 250 cotton? I really dont have any info on this photo but due to the lack of sponsors stickers it must have been its first race.
